NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,818.66 WITH AN INCREASE OF 313.86 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Monday's first session increased 313.86 points to 16,818.66 and shares gained 1.90 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 510.35 points to 22,849.99, and the services index increased 130.35 points to 8.903.48 while and the industrial index climbed 195.71 points to 14,992.41.
The financial shares gained 2.28 percent in value, and the services shares gained 1.49 percent in value while the industrial shares gained 1.32 percent in value.
A total of 204 of the 286 shares gained in value, 33 shares lost in value and the price of 49 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 675.7 trillion Turkish liras.
