KABUL - Khak-i-Jabar Head Office in Afghanistan said on Sunday that Turkish soldiers were kidnapped by people wearing soldier uniforms.
Officials of Khaki- Jabar Head Office said that Mustafa and Abdullah Koklu, two Turkish citizens working in a Turkish company named Af-Tur in Afghanistan, were abducted as a result of an argument among tribes when they were dealing with water drilling in a village.
The officials noted that tribes wanted drilling works to be made in their own region while Af-Tur officials said that the incident did not have any political dimension.
Two Afghan soldiers were detained within the scope of investigation launched by Afghan officials after the incident.
Meanwhile, Afghan Minister of Interior Ali Jalali informed Turkey's Ambassador to Afghanistan Mufit Ozdes about the incident and said that released Turks were en route to Kabul.
