ANKARA - Turkey and Azerbaijan decided on Saturday to improve cooperation in agriculture.
A statement of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Ministry said on Saturday that Turkey-Azerbaijan Third Term Agriculture Executive Board Meeting was held in Ankara between December 2 and 6.
A protocol was signed at the end of the meeting. The protocol foresaw improvement of cooperation between two countries in field of agriculture.
Azerbaijani Deputy Agriculture Minister Mamadov and Agriculture and Rural Affairs Ministry Organization and Incentive General Director Mehmet Tasan signed the protocol.
Under the protocol, Turkey and Azerbaijan will cooperate in vegetable production, animal breeding and animal health, aquaculture, agricultural researches, agricultural machines and equipment, agricultural training and commercial issues.
