Supreme Military Council Meeting Held

-INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL THREATS AGAINST TURKEY DISCUSSED

ANKARA - Internal and external threats against Turkey, preparations of Turkish Armed Forces to war and internal security issues were assessed during the Supreme Military Council meeting held on Thursday under the leadership of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
General Staff Secretariat General noted that ''internal and external threats against Turkey, preparations of Turkish Armed Forces to war and internal security issues were assessed and various personnel issues of the Armed Forces were discussed during the meeting. Besides the Council decided to dismiss two personnel from the Turkish Armed Forces due to lack of disciplinary behaviour.''
