WASHINGTON D.C. - International Monetary Fund (IMF) External Relations Director Thomas Dawson said on Thursday IMF Executive Directors Board meeting, which would conclude Turkey's Sixth Review, could be held within December, but it was related with Turkey's completing the necessary steps.
Holding a press conference at IMF's center in Washington, Dawson said regarding the Sixth Review that Turkey should complete some arrangements including Tax Reform, Public Finance Management Law and Banking Law and the date of IMF Executive Directors Board meeting could be set after that.
Dawson said that Turkey made progress in all of those fields, thus if they were completed, IMF Executive Directors Board could convene for Turkey within this month.
