ISTANBUL - Sisli Municipality will rearrange Nakiye Elgun street which was damaged during the terrorist attack launched on Beth Israel Synagogue on November 15 and open it on December 13, Saturday.
Sisli mayor Mustafa Sarýgul listened to the problems of tradesmen and neighbourhood residents who suffered from the terrorist attacks.
Addressing the meeting, Sarýgul said that they prohibited car parking in the street upon the wish of residents.
Sarýgul stated that special security measures would be taken between 07.00-13.00 in the street on Saturdays when there is religious ceremony in the synagogue. Sarýgul stated that studies continued about the new traffic system in the region.
''We will open the street on December 13, we also invited Chief Rabbi Ishak Haleva to the opening,'' Sarýgul added.
