Tusiad To Attend Unice Summit In Rome

ISTANBUL - The Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederations (UNICE) will come together in Rome on December 5 prior to the EU summit that will convene between 12-13 December in Brussels.
A delegation headed by Chairman of Association of Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSIAD) Tuncay Ozilhan went to Rome, Italy on Thursday to participate in the summit.
TUSIAD noted in a statement that attendees composed of chairmen and high ranking representatives of private sectors in all European countries will be received by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi before the UNICE Rome summit.
TUSIAD delegation will also have contacts on the sidelines of the meeting and explain the steps taken by Turkey on the way to EU membership. TUSIAD will also stress during its contacts that EU's starting negotiations with Turkey will contribute to economic and social stability of Turkey.
