De Gaulle's Grandson Opens In Paris Photography Exhibition On Turkey

PARIS - Laurent de Gaulle, the grandson of famous French statesman General Charles De Gaulle, the founder of the fifth republic of France, opened a photography exhibition composed of pictures taken in Turkey in Turkish Culture and Tourism Office in Paris on Thursday.
The photography exhibition on ''European Satellite, Turkey'' will be open until December 19.
The exhibition has 33 photographs taken in Istanbul and Cappodocia region.
Addressing the opening of the exhibition, Laurent De Gaulle said that he admired Turkey and he regained humane feelings after his travel to Turkey.
He also said that he worked as France's cultural attache to India and Australia for a long time.
Many members of De Gaulle family, Turkish Ambassador to France Uluc Ozulker, Turkish Consul General to Paris Aydýn Sezgin and many other guests attended the opening of the exhibition.
