NATIONAL-100 INDEX INCREASES TO 16,547.46 WITH AN INCREASE OF 157.87 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Thursday's first session increased 157.87 points to 16,547.46 and shares gained 0.96 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 256.60 points to 22,384.09, and the services index fell 33.03 points to 8.893.78 while and the industrial index climbed 162.39 points to 14,774.76.
The financial shares gained 1.16 percent in value, and the services shares lost 0.37 percent in value while the industrial shares gained 1.11 percent in value.
A total of 29 of the 285 shares lost in value, 209 shares gained in value and the price of 47 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 630.6 trillion Turkish liras.
