Romanian President Iliescu Arrives In Ankara

ANKARA - Romanian President Ion Iliescu arrived in Ankara on Thursday as the official guest of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Iliescu is accompanied by Romanian Interior Minister Ioan Rus and a group of businessmen.
An official welcoming ceremony will be held in Cankaya Palace for Iliescu.
The two presidents will stage a joint news conference following their tete-a-tete meeting and talks between the delegations.
The guest president is expected to receive Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
