Sezer Talks To Georgian Acting President Burjanadze And Shevardnadze On Phone

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer called on Wednesday Georgian Acting President Nino Burjanadze and former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze respectively and expressed pleasure over coming together of the leaders of Georgia by dialogue and compromise, which were requirements of democracy.
Presidential Press Centre stated that during the telephone talks, President Sezer noted that Turkey would continue to extend all kind of support to friendly Georgia, expressing the importance of protection of independence and territorial integrity and strengthening of stability, security and prosperity of Georgia, which was a strategic neighbor of Turkey.
President Sezer also conveyed his greetings and best wishes to friendly Georgian nation.
