Istanbul Stock Exchange Second Session

NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,389.59 WITH AN INCREASE OF 209.66 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Wednesday's second session increased 209.66 points to 16,389.59 and shares increased 1.30 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous first session.
At the close of the second session, the financial index increased 338.10 points to 22,127.49, the industrial index increased 110.78 points to 14,612.37 and the services index rose 106.75 points to 8,926.81.
The financial shares gained 1.55 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 0.76 percent in value and the services shares gained 1.21 percent in value.
A total of 140 of the 290 shares gained in value, 84 shares lost in value, and the price of 66 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume in the second session was 651.6 trillion Turkish liras (TL), and daily trading volume was 938.8 trillion (TL).
