ISTANBUL - German energy company Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) and Turkish Ciner Group signed a letter of intent for cooperation in Turkish electricity market.
A statement was released on Wednesday, saying that partners would participate in the tender processes of Ayedas, Baskent and Sakarya electricity distribution companies, as a first step.
EnBW said that it has investments in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland with 20,000 employees and 5 million consumers.
"EnBW aims at a fresh acceleration to its growth with investments in Turkey which has a population of 75 million," said the company in its statement.
