ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Ministry will give bank cards to personnel of foreign diplomatic representations and consulates who will be exempted from Value Added Tax (VAT) as of January 1st, 2007, according to VAT General Notification published in Official Gazette on Tuesday.
The bank cards will have a logo as "VAT Exemption Card".
Purchases within the scope of this exemption will be made through the card.
