ANKARA - Turkish Parliamentary General Assembly adopted budget of 2007 late on Monday.
The budget was adopted with 306 votes against 148.
On the other hand, prior to adoption of the budget, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed deputies and said that the government is exerting efforts to solve Cyprus issue on UN basis.
He stressed that they will never make concessions regarding this issue.
Erdogan recalled that Turkey put reservation about Cyprus issue while signing Additional Protocol.
The prime minister stressed that the protocol does not bind them until it is adopted by the parliament and there is not any paper on the issue that was signed by the Prime Minister or Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey.
