JAKARTA - Turkish State Minister & Deputy Premier Mehmet Ali Sahin separately met Indonesian Minister of Trade Mari Elka Pangestu and Public Works Minister Joko Kirmanto on Monday.
Stressing that commercial relations between Turkey and Indonesia are developing, Sahin said that the trade volume between the two countries will exceed 1 billion USD by the end of 2006.
Sahin said that they have started to take results of the meeting of Joint Economic Commission (JEC) which was held a few months ago.
Noting that Turkish businessmen are highly interested in Indonesia, Sahin said that recently Turkish Sabanci Holding bought 15 percent shares of an Indonesian company 15 days ago.
