WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has eulogized Turkey`s Iraq policy.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Rice said, "so some of Iraq`s neighbors have been quite helpful, other have not been as helpful."
Noting that Iran`s activities were feeding sectarianism and violence, Rice said, "there could have been questions about the northern border but the Turks have taken a quite different tack. They have gone out of their way to be supportive of the Iraqis. They have gone out of their way even to make bridges to the Kurds."
"There`s a problem of the PKK terrorists that has to be dealt with, but even there it`s the Iraqis -- the Turks and we are dealing with that in a trilateral cooperative mechanism," Rice added.
