NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,211.20 WITH AN INCREASE OF 203.61 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Tuesday's first session increased 203.61 points to 16,211.20 and shares gained 1.27 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 286.46 points to 21,915.45, the industrial index rose 201.87 points to 14,382.41, and the services index climbed 52.45 points to 8,902.78.
The financial shares gained 1.32 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 1.42 percent in value and the services shares gained 0.59 percent in value.
A total of 181 of the 285 shares gained in value, 41 shares lost in value and the price of 63 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 386 trillion Turkish liras.
