BURSA - Exports of ready-to-wear clothings from northwestern province of Bursa increased by 24.3 percent, and exports of textiles rose by 21.8 percent in the January-November period of 2003.
Uludag Exporters' Association told the A.A correspondent on Tuesday that exports of ready-to-wear clothings and textiles increased from 844 million 295 thousand U.S. in January-November period of 2002 to 1 billion 39 million 549 thousand U.S. dollars in the same period this year.
Meanwhile, exports of textiles decreased by 1 percent while exports of ready-to-wear clothings rose by 11 percent in November of 2003.
The region exported textiles to ten free zones and 115 countries and autonomous regions, and exported ready-to-wear clothings to nine free zones and 90 countries and autonomous regions.
