MERSIN/ADANA - There has been a 30 percent drop in prices of residences in holiday resorts, according to municipal officials in the Mediterranean Riviera of Turkey.
The price of the dwellings indeed amounted 200-220 thousand YTL in summer months.(One dollar equals to 1.42 YTL)
There are more than 150,000 residences in the 326 kilometer-long shoreline of Turkey on the Mediterranean coast.
According to real estate agents, purchasing a summer residence in the shoreline will be easier and more advantageous in November and December.
The agents said those who invest in real estate in the region, usually double the price of the houses while selling them.
