STOCKHOLM - Orhan Pamuk, the renowned Turkish novelist and the Nobel Laureate in Literature for 2006, will return to Turkey on Thursday.
Accepting his award on Sunday from King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden, Pamuk attended the banquet by King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden and Queen Silvia yesterday with other Nobel laureates in physics, chemistry, medicine and economy.
Pamuk visited Rinkeby Primary School today where Turkish students densely attend and he watched students` traditional Lucia celebrations.
Pamuk said he would fly to Istanbul on Thursday.
