ANKARA - U.S. Congress delegation's visit which was scheduled to be paid to Ankara this week was cancelled.
Officials from the U.S. Embassy in Ankara said on Monday that Congress delegation's visit to Ankara had been cancelled before the feast of Ramadan and stated that it was cancelled due to different schedules of the sides.
Energy and Trade Committee delegation headed by Nathan Deal, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was scheduled to visit Ankara between December 4 and 5.
The delegation was also scheduled to hold meetings in Energy and Natural Resources Ministry, Foreign Ministry and State run oil pipeline company (BOTAS).
