NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 15,668.08 WITH AN INCREASE OF 1,050.55 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Monday's first session increased 1,050.55 points to 15,668.08 and shares gained 7.19 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 1,558.61 points to 21,039.59 and the industrial index rose 730.31 points to 13,968.49 while the services index increased 495.72 points to 8,755.40.
The financial shares gained 8.00 percent in value and the industrial shares gained 5.52 percent in value while the services shares gained 6.00 percent in value.
A total of 213 of the 284 shares gained in value, 35 shares lost in value and the price of 36 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 333.7 trillion Turkish liras.
