ISTANBUL - The person, who launched attack on HSBC Bank in Levent district of Istanbul on November 20, was identified as Mevlut Ugur.
Police suspected that the body found after the explosion belonged to Ugur. When DNA samples of Ugur and his family covered with each other, police found out that Ugur had launched the suicide attack on HSBC Bank.
Police earlier reported that Gokhan Elaltuntas launched the suicide attack on Neve Shalom Synagogue in Beyoglu district and Mesut Cabuk attacked on Beth Israel Synagogue in Sisli district on November 15, while Feridun Ugurlu launched the bomb attack against Istanbul Consulate General of Britain in Beyoglu district on November 20.
