ISTANBUL - A bus carrying Turkish tourists who went to Egypt with Turkish travel agency ETS fell into a water canal while returning from a tour around the Nile River on Saturday.
ETS officials said that some other tourists who were wounded during the accident were taken to International Hospital, later discharged and they were all fine.
The bus driven by an Egyptian driver and which belonged to Travel Line company fell into the canal due to a puncture in its tyre. The dead bodies of the three passengers will be brought to Turkey by plane after the legal proceedings.
Turkish Embassy in Cairo also helped the Turkish tourists who will return to Turkey on Sunday.
