ISTANBUL - Istanbul Security Directorate announced on Saturday that one person who ordered the bomb attack on Beth Israel Synagogue in Sisli, Istanbul on November 15, was caught.
Istanbul Deputy Director General Halil Yýlmaz said that as a result of investigations, it was found out that one person having connection with the terrorist attacks would go abroad by using fake identity card and passport.
''He was caught when he tried to go abroad from Agri's Gurbulak border gate on November 25, 2003. The arrested person collected information about Beth Israel Synagogue before the bomb attack, he went to the scene with other assailants on November 15 and ordered the bomb attack. The person was asked to recreate the scene around 9.00 a.m. on November 29, 2003 by the presence of Istanbul State Security Court Chief Prosecutor. Today six persons will be transferred to DGM Prosecutor's Office in connection with the investigation.''
