Galatasary Club Chairman Canaydin Says Federation Wants Them To Inform Uefa About Name Of A Stadium They Want To Play

ISTANBUL - Galatasaray Club Chairman Ozhan Canaydin announced on Thursday that Soccer Federation wanted them to inform UEFA about the name of the stadium they wanted to play till the end of the time that was given.
Canaydin said Soccer Federation Chairman Haluk Ulusoy called him and said, ''federation and the government accepted decision of UEFA to play the match in a foreign country,'' and noted that Ulusoy asked them to give a name to UEFA regarding the stadium they wanted to play.
Noting that they could be prohibited from the European Cup matches for three years, Canaydin said, ''we will inform UEFA about our preference till 17.00 local time.''
Canaydin said they preferred Germany, but noted that, ''our efforts are underway. We will see whether or not hiring conditions of the stadium are reasonable for us.''
