ANKARA - Victoria Short, wife of British Consul General in Istanbul Roger Short, said on Thursday that bomb attacks in front of Consulate building and HSBC Bank were hateful violence actions planning to kill both British and Turkish innocent people.
Victoria Short made a written statement and said she mourned for all the people who died in attacks on British Consulate General and HSBC Bank.
Short said her family, families of victims, and personnel of Consulate General appreciated the good will of Turkish friends and efforts of Turkish authorities following last week's bomb attacks.
Short stated that Turkish police organization worked hard to capture those responsible for the attacks, and made a call to people who have information about those who involved in bomb attacks.
Short in her call wanted those people to help officials to prevent occurrence of another violence incident, and she wanted those people to inform Turkish police organization.
