People Who Have Relatives In Syria Exchange Greetings On Feast Of Ramadan

ANTAKYA - People living in southern Hatay province started on Wednesday to exchange greetings on Feast of Ramadan with their relatives living in Syria.
Hatay Governor Abdulkadir Sari welcomed at Cilvegozu Border Gate Governor Huseyin Ali Elhaddar of Idlip city of Syria, Deputy Governor Selim Zekkur, Police Chief Abdurrahman Karbuc and other officials.
Sari said that they gave permission to five thousand people from Syria for exchange of greetings during the Feast of Ramadan.
Syrian people who have relatives in Reyhanli town and its surrounding could stay in those places for 48 hours, Sari stressed.
Idlip Governor Elhaddar said that Turkish people were hospitable and that Hatay Governor's Office facilitated meetings among relatives.
They would further improve their relations to strengthen Turkish-Syrian relations, Elhaddar noted.
People who came from Syria to exchange greetings during the Feast of Ramadan will return to their countries 48 hours later.
