DIYARBAKIR - Rescue teams pulled 3 bodies from the rubble of the collapsed military residential building in southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Monday, sources said.
Boiler of central heating caused the explosion in the five-story military residential building in Diyarbakir, collapsing large part of the building. Search and rescue operations are underway in the area with the support of the natural disaster relief team of the General Staff.
Two of the three people whose bodies have recently been recovered were children, the sources stated. Efforts are under way to rescue five more people, three of whom were children.
Seven people were rescued from the debris earlier today.
