-3 PEOPLE RESCUED FROM THE WRECKAGE
DIYARBAKIR - Three people were rescued from the wreckage of the collapsed military residential building in southeastern city of Diyarbakyr on Friday.
Two of the injured people were kids, it was reported.
Boiler of central heating have caused the explosion in the five-story military residential building in Diyarbakyr, governor's office stated.
Civil defence teams, firemen and military squads started search and rescue operations.
Injured people were taken to military hospitals, sources said.
Half of the building was collapsed after the explosion this morning at 08.45 a.m.
Intensive security measures were taken at the explosion area and media members are not allowed to enter the buildings in the neighbourhood to shoot pictures.
