ANKARA - Turkish Presidential Press Center said on Sunday that President Ahmet Necdet Sezer was not informed on Turkey's recent proposal to the EU about opening of a port and airport to the Greek Cypriot traffic.
Releasing a statement, the Presidential Press Center said, "there were some news report in today's dailies claiming that the president was informed on Turkey's proposal to the EU Presidency about opening of a port and an airport to the Greek Cypriot traffic. These news reports do not reflect the truth."
"The president was not informed on the proposal directly or indirectly," the statement added.
