MUGLA - Mugla Governor Huseyin Aksoy said on Sunday that a total of 2 million 58 thousand foreign tourists have come to southwestern province of Mugla to spend their holiday till the end of October.
Stating that the number of foreign tourists who visited Mugla and its vicinity increased by 10.5 percent in the first ten months of 2003 when compared to the same period last year, Aksoy noted that 238 thousand 818 tourists visited Mugla only in October.
He stated that 724 thousand 882 British tourists visited the region in the first ten months of 2003 and Britain was ranked the first among countries which sent their people to Mugla and its vicinity for holiday.
