Sixth International Far East Films Festival To Start

ANKARA - Ankara will host the Sixth International Far East Films Festival between December 1 and 7, 2003.
A total of 50 films from the People's Republic of China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, New Zealand and Singapore will be shown during the festival.
Several panel discussions will be held on the Far East cinema.
The festival will be opened with Takeshi Kitano's ''Dolls''.
Later, the festival will be organized in Istanbul between December 8 and 31, and in Izmir between December 27 and January 4.
