ROME - Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun said on Friday that the real target of those who launched terrorist attacks in Istanbul, has not been clear yet.
Coskun, who attended the European Union (EU) member and candidate countries' unofficial ministerial meeting in Italian capital Rome on consumer policy, replied to questions of A.A correspondent.
Coskun said that it was a reality that terrorist attacks would not cause a crisis in Turkey as it happened in the past. He added that terrorist attacks in Istanbul would have some affects on economy, but not cause a crisis.
Coskun said that it was not possible to predict target of the terrorism, but economic issues were affected by terrorism a lot. He added that the targets of terrorist attacks in Istanbul were not clear yet, however as confidence milieu was provided and economic balances were established in Turkey, those terrorist attacks would not cause crisis in the country as it happened in the past.
Coskun emphasized that terrorist attacks would not change EU membership target of Turkey.
