ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent on Friday a message of condolence to British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul sent a message of condolence to British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.
Upon a question, Foreign Ministry spokesman Huseyin Dirioz said that Erdogan and Gul expressed Turkish nation's deep sorrow over British citizens who died or injured in the attack in Istanbul.
Dirioz added that Erdogan and Gul stressed in their messages that those attacks confirmed once again indispensability of international solidarity and cooperation in fight against terrorism.
