Bush, Aliyev, And Eroglu Convey Their Condolences To Erdogan

ANKARA - Leaders of some countries offered on Friday their condolences to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the terrorist attacks in Istanbul.
U.S. President George W. Bush, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and TRNC Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu called Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and conveyed their condolences.
U.S. President George W. Bush called Prime Minister Erdogan at 13.30 the same day and expressed his condolences for the Turkish and British citizens who died in the explosions in Istanbul. Noting that the U.S. shared the grief of Turkey, Bush said that the U.S. wanted to work with Turkey. Bush addressed Erdogan as ''my friend'' and extended message of support during the telephone talk and noted that the U.S. was always with Turkey, and it was ready to make cooperation with Turkey in fight with terrorism.
Prime Minister Erdogan said in his part that ''our fight with terrorism in the international platform will continue seriously. All sorts of terrorism have to be cursed and a common fight platform has to be formed. One week ago, terrorism hit our citizens of Jewish origin, now it hit British and Turkish citizens.''
