Gul Speaks To Wife Of British Consul General In Istanbul Who Dies In Blast On Consulate Building

ANKARA - Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul called on Friday wife of British Consul General in Istanbul Roger Short, who died in blast on the consulate building on Thursday.
Sources said that Gul spoke to Victoria Short by phone and expressed deep sorrow over losing a real friend of Turkey and offered his condolences.
Gul said that they were ready to help in case Short's family needed anything.
