MOSCOW - National Education Minister Huseyin Celik said on Thursday that terrorist attacks aimed to destroy stability in the country.
Russian and Turkish businessmen hosted a dinner in honor of Celik, who is currently in Moscow for three-day visit.
Celik said that the recent attacks were made against development of Turkey and stated that Turkey suffered from terrorism a lot and lost many people.
Stating that Turkey managed to reach good development pace with a single government, Celik said that assailants were trying to prevent those developments by attacks against innocent people. He added that he hoped that those attacks would not continue.
Meanwhile, stressing that Russia had an important effect on Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Celik said that the two countries should improve their cooperation possibilities in Eurasia.
Celik said that he and Russian Education Minister Vladimir Filippov discussed equivalence between universities of the two countries and stated that meetings on the issue would also be taken up during Filippov's visit to Turkey.
