ANKARA - Turkey was pleased with NATO Council's statement condemning terrorist attacks in Istanbul.
Releasing a statement on Thursday, Foreign Ministry said that NATO Council issued on Thursday a statement harshly condemning terrorist attacks which killed many Turkish citizens and foreign people in Istanbul and stated that NATO Secretary General and NATO-Russia Council also issued statements condemning blasts in Istanbul.
It noted that those statements included expression of condolences to relatives of people who died in blasts and expression of quick recovery to those who injured in those attacks and stated that those statements highlighted that allies were in solidarity with Turkey in fight against terrorism.
Foreign Ministry's statement said that Turkey was pleased with those statements which revealed once again solidarity between allies and friendly countries.
