ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Thursday that Turkey would continue to walk on its path after blasts in Istanbul.
Gul returned from Sweden to Turkey and told reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport that those attacks were damned incidents which innocent people faced and stated that those attacks would not be forgiven. Stating that Turkey was facing organized terrorist attack, he said Turkey would continue to walk on its path and everyone should know it.
Gul also confirmed that British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw would come to Turkey this evening.
Foreign Minister Gul is expected to proceed to Istanbul on Friday and meet with Straw who will come to Turkey this evening.
Sources said that Gul would later return to Ankara to attend the meeting of National Security Council on Friday.
