H.S.B.C. Bank: Rumours Saying That We Will Withdraw From Turkey Are Baseless

ISTANBUL - HSBC Bank Inc. Directorate General said on Thursday that the bank continued its activities in Turkey, adding that ''the rumours saying that we will withdraw from Turkey are baseless.''
Issuing a written statement, the Directorate General noted that the bank closed its branches two hours before the closing time only for today due to the safety of its clients and employees.
''The Bank will continue its commercial activities as of tomorrow. HSBC administration is in full charge and there is no reason for our clients to be worried,'' it was added.
