ISTANBUL - HSBC Bank Inc. said on Thursday that it decided to close its branches in Turkey as of 3.00 p.m. for today in order not to put into risk its clients and employees.
Noting that the bank's employees died and wounded in the blasts that took place in front of the bank's directorate general in Levent, the Bank noted that it aimed to start its commercial activities on Friday.
The Bank statement noted that there was serious damage in the building of the directorate general building, adding that there were dead and wounded employees. The bank said its ATM services would continue on a restricted basis.
