Green Pick-up Truck Used In Attack On British Consulate In Istanbul Seemed To Be Belonging To A Food Company

ISTANBUL - A green pick-up truck which seemed to be a vehicle belonging to a food company was used in the attack on British Consulate General in Istanbul on Thursday.
Officials of Istanbul Police Department told A.A correspondent that bombs were thought to be put in food cauldrons.
The officials said that an explosion occurred as a green pick-up truck seemed to be a vehicle belonging to a food company tried to enter in the British Consulate General building in Istanbul.
Police started to investigate footage of security cameras of the building.
Bombs used in attacks on two synagogues in Istanbul last week were placed in big barrels, were loaded on lorries after being covered by sacks, and were camouflaged by detergent packages.
