ISTANBUL - Wall of front garden of British Consulate General in Istanbul was demolished in the blast that occurred in Beyoglu district on Thursday.
A strong explosion occurred in front of the Consulate Building on Tepebasi Mesrutiyet Square at 11.00 a.m.
Wall of front garden of the Consulate General was demolished and fire broke out in the garden after the blast.
Fire was immediately put out by fire-fighters.
Many vehicles parked on the street were damaged while the street turned into a field of war.
Citizens who were injured in the blast were taken to hospitals for treatment.
There are body pieces at the spot of explosion.
