CESME - Gendarme forces captured on Wednesday 64 Pakistanis who wanted to cross into foreign countries illegally in Cesme town of Aegean Izmir province.
Gendarme forces saw a Greek-flagged boat named Seagull on Turkish territorial waters and later saw that Pakistani people were passing from a Turkish-flagged boat named Akrep to Greek-flagged Seagull.
Thus, 11 Pakistanis were detained.
Gendarme forces later captured 53 Pakistanis off Alacati Gulf and detained Seagull's captains Dedes Kyriakos, 41 and Tomas Hpistise, 47 and Ercan Arslan, the owner of Turkish boat.
Arslan and two Greek captains were arrested while the Pakistanis will be handed over to Izmir Police Department to be deported.
