ISTANBUL - Istanbul State Security Court (DGM) Chief Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into yesterday's event at Istanbul Courthouse.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that interrogation of 21 people, describing themselves as the ''Youth Initiative for Social Peace'', had been continuing at Provincial Directorate of Anti-Terrorism.
Security officials have been investigating any possible connection between the detainees and the terrorist organization of PKK/KADEK.
Meanwhile, Istanbul DGM Chief Prosecutor's Office has considered the event an act of terror, and launched an investigation against the detainees.
A group of people blocked a corridor in the courthouse by throwing over file cabinets, preventing those inside from leaving. They unfurled banners from a third-floor window calling for release of Abdullah Ocalan, the head of the terrorist organization. Security forces used teargas to storm the courthouse and detained the demonstrators.
