ANKARA - Iraqi Interim Governing Council's current president Jalal Talabani came to Ankara on Wednesday.
Talabani who pays his first visit to Turkey as the president of Iraqi Interim Governing Council is accompanied by a delegation including Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
Talabani will have meetings with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, State Minister Kursad Tuzmen and Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal on Wednesday. Talabani is expected to hold meetings in Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
A message saying that ''foundation of relations for the future should be laid'' will be given to Iraq during Talabani's visit.
