Basbug Attends Second Day Session Of High-level Joint Defense Group Meetings

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Deputy Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug, who is currently in the United States, attended on Tuesday the second day session of the 18th high-level joint defense group meetings.
Meetings are being held in Williamsburg near Washington.
Basbug is expected to meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage and Deputy National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley.
