TEL AVIV/ANKARA - Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) attended in Israel an international conference on business opportunities to be led by EU enlargement.
Addressing the conference, Hisarcıklıoglu gave information about Turkish economy and economic reforms which were implemented in Turkey.
Explaining investment opportunities in Turkey, Hisarcıklıoglu said that there was a big economic relation potential between Turkey, Israel and Palestine.
Hisarcıklıoglu stressed that development of economic and commercial relations would contribute to installation of peace and stability.
Expressing sorrow over the terrorist attacks on two synagogues in Istanbul, Hisarcıklıoglu said that religious fanaticism and radical nationalism were the main source of clashes which took place in the world.
After Israel, Hisarcıklıoglu will proceed to Palestinian territories.
